So occasionally, even the worst of us (read: me) miss injuries in the ED.  We then go through a progression.

When you're first told you missed something...

You then look at the injury films:

You then go into panic mode....

You then sit in the back of morning signout and pout...

You then resign yourself to the inevitable encounter with your attending, which you imagine going like this...

And even though your attending is nice about it, you still feel like this for the next month...
