We have new PA's that we work with that take overnight call. This is currently how I spend most of my mornings during their sign out...

Patient: "My heel pain started like 10 years ago when I was in a motorcycle accident. The bone was fractured, but luckily it wasn't broken."
Me:

I had my pandora station in the OR yesterday on random and taylor swift's "style" came on...

OR tech: "So why's it thumbs upped?"
Me:

(To the scrub tech at the end of a supracondylar pinning, motioning to the end of the k-wire as I went to cut it off)
Me: 'You might want to grab the tip right there, it's about to shoot at you.'

I saw one of my patients that I operated on driving home today...
